Reviews

Ken did an excellent job making us feel at home, gave a ton of useful information regarding where to hike, where to eat, and what to do in the area! The Pyramid Suite was cozy and had an amazing view off the back porch! Sedona is absolutely stunning! Would definitely recommend you stay in one of Ken’s rentals if you want to be out of the hustle and bustle of a tourist area, yet be just a couple minutes away from everything! I’m told we visited during their coldest winter in many, many years, but that didn’t matter. The trip was amazing! And Ken made sure we had everything we needed!

Felt like home

Ken promptly returned my call and was very accommodating in accepting us the very same day. We were already staying at another place in Sedona, but we were unhappy there.

The Pyramid Suite exceeded all of our expectations though! It saved our vacation. Quiet at night, and very residential feeling, yet only a few minutes’ drive in to town.

The room itself has a nice balcony and is outfitted with everything you need for your stay, down to walking sticks.

Ken also spent time with us offering his recommendations. There is a guide book in the room with info about many of Sedona’s wonderful hiking trails.

Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Very accommodating

Ken was a gracious host; gave very helpful information about the area, hikes, restaurants, etc. The Cathedral room is roomy and comfortable with a lovely view of Cathedral Rock. Best of all, no hidden fees. The price you see advertised is the total price. I will stay here again when I return. Better than a hotel because it feels like you are part of the neighborhood.

Lovely Retreat in Sedona

We recently had the opportunity to stay at this property. Ken was informative, polite, and willingly shared the important places to see in Sedona, AZ, More importantly, he respected our privacy and did not intrude upon our vacation plans. However, when our footwear was nearly destroyed by the rainy conditions in Arizona this winter, he cleaned up our shoes and let them at our doorstep when we returned from a day of hiking. In short, his recommendations were spot on, his hospitality was impeccable, and I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Our room came with the essentials including coffee, soda and water, and popcorn. Make this your first choice when considering a vacation rental in Sedona.

The Best, Relaxed, Informative, Private Place in Sedona

We absolutely loved staying here! The suite was cozy and comfortable, and had everything we needed! Ken and Heather were both so kind, and they gave us so much information about the area we never even went to the visitor’s office!! We would definitely stay here again.

My husband and 15 yo son stayed at the Payramid Suite. Ken provided an air bed that was comfortable. The room was spacious and very clean with a lovely porch for morning coffee and evening drinks. The little kitchenette was perfect for breakfast and snacks. The lack of a stove was perfect for us as the last thing we wanted to do at the end of our trip was cook. Ken provides great maps, tips and local guide books. We would definitely stay there again should we return to Sedona.

Great end to a trip

The Cathedral Suite was once again a fantastic escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. This was my second visit and I am looking forward to another in the future. It was the perfect launching pad for road biking, mountain biking and hiking. The morning views of Cathedral Rock from the porch were refreshing each clear morning. The evening strolls to Red Rock Crossing were as wonderful on this visit as my previous visit 4 years ago. As always it was nice to talk to Heather and Ken who are the most gracious hosts one could ask for. The suite is meticulously maintained and complete.

The location down in the canyon offers superb peace and quiet while still being proximal to all the amenities of West Sedona. If you are looking for a virtual vortex of tranquility, check this out. You will be rewarded.

Second verse, as good as the first

The two of us stayed here on a mini break to Sedona. We loved the privacy of the place, the comfort and tasteful finishes, and the extra touches like coffee, granola bars, guidebooks and maps as well as a 30 minute orientation from our host with lots of useful suggestions and recommendations. Although off the beaten track, the property was only 10 minutes away from great restaurants and shopping, and right on the doorstep of trails and sightseeing. Quiet and serene. The only thing I’d change was a larger coffee pot (we love our morning coffee!). I would definitely recommend it for other couples wanting a romantic or just a quiet break.

Wonderful private retreat

The Pyramid Suite was perfect for the quiet getaway I wanted. It’s nicely decorated with great touches–tile, granite, adjustable lighting. . all very well done. And the kitchen had everything I needed. Ken and Heather were very thoughtful to provide maps, guidebooks, recommendations. And the drive to the location from 89A is breathtaking. You’ll be glad you chose it.

A Lovely Getaway

We really enjoyed our long weekend at the Sedona Suite. The quite neighborhood location was a short stroll to lovely Oak Creek yet only five minutes drive to all of town’s amenities. Our room, the Pryamid Suite, was modern and super clean with a nice balcony overlooking an arroyo. We even explored a local MTB/hiking trail network starting directly from the Suites! Ken could not have been more welcoming, and his knowledge of the area helped us plan our days and evenings perfectly. Thanks for making our stay so special.

Perfect Sedona Stay
