Owner Ken is a very experienced traveller and thus, has every detail covered (and then some)! Too, he KNOWS Arizona and can give tips customized to vacationer’s needs and interests. All of Sedona is lovely but the drive to the property, along Upper Red Rock Loop is really something. Not super travelled, it’s quiet, there’s a number of great trails, and cool views of formations including Cathedral and Pyramid Rocks. The house itself is beautifully maintained, a few hundred yards from Red Rock State Park, super comfortable, and quiet. Well, except when were were woken up late one night by howling coyotes but that just added to the mystique of it all! We will be staying here once again when we return to Sedona in 2015!!!

Located in the outskirts of Sedona this unit has everything,great views,quiet,very comfortable,extremely clean and within a 5-10 minute drive to almost everything. Ken and Heather’s recommendations for dining were fantastic.Will return when next in the area.

Future Guest, Ken is a very outgoing and generous host who will make you feel welcome from the start. The moment you meet him you will feel as though you are a part of his family. It is very apparent that he takes pride in his home, property and the relationships he builds with his guests. His location is prime if you’re looking for a private neighborhood setting away from noisy traffic and tourists yet close to all the attractions Sedona has to offer. Our room had a very comfortable King size bed and bathroom which was welcoming after a day of sightseeing and participating in activities. The amenities in the room served us very well and were in keeping with an up to date furnished apartment. Ken should be the first choice for any traveler seeking the best of customer service and accommodations throughout Sedona.

Our host and his dog greeted us with a morning hike; immediately making us feel at home. Though hotels may offer benefits, we enjoyed not having to walk through nor be adjacent to noisiness(being nestled around beautiful high desert countryside). We enjoyed an early morning golf game 90min away in Williams aZ. All other activity (massage/spa,hiking,shopping,eating)and cool water fun @ Slide Rock State Park was enjoyed just minutes away. For our 4th of July stay, we definitely got more bang for our buck!

Very grateful to have stayed here! The thoughtful touches really made a difference: makeup wipes in the bathroom, tea in the pantry, maps and guides, and park passes. He gave us a thoughtful orientation and answered any and all of our questions and concerns: no matter how small. Ken’s hospitality is what makes staying here worth it!

The owner was extremely accommodating, and very friendly – worked with us very closely through the entire process. The room was very neat and exceptionally clean. It had everything you could possibly need – they thought of everything – right down to hiking sticks, umbrellas and floppy hats! Owner was very knowledgeable about the area – even told us where the best hiking and photo ops were! The location was quiet and serene, just a short walk to Oak Creek and some of the best hiking trails in the area and a 5 minute drive to all the restaurants and tourist spots you could hope for. I can’t think of anything negative to say! If you are looking for a “restful” place to kick back and relax, this is a very good option. If you prefer the night life and touristy shopping and activities, this is a very good option.

My boyfriend and I spent three nights at the Cathedral Suite. I have stayed at many VRBO locations and this is one of the best. Beautiful location close to amazing hikes and town. The suite is immaculate, well decorated, offers a patio bistro set, parking, and a small pantry stocked with coffee, soda, and snacks. The suite includes various books on local hikes, vortex information, and two books authored by Ken. One of my favorite parts of the stay was the amazing night stars and sounds of coyotes calling out in the distance. Ken offers a variety of suggestions for hikes, dining, and sight seeing…all of his suggestions were perfect. I can’t wait to return. Thank you!

A wonderful place to stay in Sedona close to Red Rock Crossing and Cathedral Peak is visible from the Balcony at sunrise and sunset. Convenient to West Sedona but tucked away, close to nature. The hosts were extremely helpful with orientation to the area, suggestions for restaurants, hikes, and other activities. Well-appointed bedroom, bath, and kitchenette, perfect for making your own breakfast and getting out to explore the area.

Well the reviews of this place don’t lie. They are 5 star for a reason. First, Ken is a very nice person. From the very beginning, Ken was accommodating and explained in much detail his place and local attractions. Ken took the time to tell us where everything was in the studio and added nice little touches. The place was very clean and the bed was SUPER comfy. The location is also great not too far from the city center and just a short 10 min drive. The area was quiet and very peaceful at night. The area also is super safe. We highly recommend you check Ken’s place out. For the price, location, cleanliness, amenities and Ken as a host, the money was very well spent.
