The perfect base for exploring Sedona

Ken’s place is the perfect base for exploring everything that Sedona has to offer. It is a short walk from amazing views of Cathedral Rock and is just a few minutes driving from downtown Sedona/all the hikes you could need, yet is nicely removed from the hustle and bustle of the touristy part of the town. But even more importantly, Ken is far and away the most gracious and helpful host we have ever encountered using Airbnb. When we arrived, Ken gave us a great rundown of nearby hikes/restaurants/etc. The next day we hiked Bear Mountain (great hike), but the area got hit with an unexpectedly chaotic snowstorm that dropped 5 inches of snow and covered all the roads in ice. When we were unable to make it back to town because of the icy roads, Ken drove to in his 4×4 to pick us up and took us to the grocery store to get food for the night. The next day Ken drove us to pick up our car, but unfortunately it had been towed by the sheriff to a town 40 minutes away. Despite it being New Years Day and probably having lots of other things he could be doing, Ken drove us to retrieve our car. If we had been staying in a hotel we have no idea what we would have done, and we are forever grateful for Ken’s kindness and generosity in helping us deal with the curveball that nature threw our way. We HIGHLY recommend Ken’s Cathedral Suite — you will not be disappointed.
