4th ANNUAL SEDONA MARATHON
Run, sprint, jog or trot along this distinctively scenic, 26.2-mile course, which features a half marathon as well as a 5K run. Proceeds benefit t the Lymphoma Research Foundation. (800) 775-7671. sedonamarathon.com

February 21-February 28
SEDONA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL
Now in its 15th season, the festival will showcase more than 125 films highlighting filmmakers and actors from around the world. Workshops and a series of kid friendly films for families will be presented. Screenings open to the public. (928) 282-1177. sedonafilmfestival.com

Sedona suites was an easy place to stay, well equipped, clean, quiet and with a great introduction to the area by Ken. Our only regret – we were not there long enough. Would we stay here again – absolutely! Would we recommend it to friends – we already have! Nikko’s people.

We have been touring the USA since January 1st and rate Sedona as the highlight of our trip so far. We were very impressed with our hosts, Ken & Heather, and their Sedona Suite for their attention to detail and helpful advice about Sedona “must dos”. The efficiencysuite included everything we needed to make our stay comfortable (including a wonderful king size bed that came in so handy after all the strenuous hikes during our stay!!) and with some planning we were able to prepare some of our evening meals in the suite. The view of Cathedral Rock and the star filled night sky from our deck provided more highlights. We were also able to hike to Cathedral Rock by walking to trails in the park at the end of our street.(You will need to take off your hikers and ford a shallow, crystal clear stream to get to CR but the wade was refreshing!)

Absolutely enjoyed our stay at Ken and Heather’s perfect Sedona hide-away nestled in a quiet area at the bases of Cathedral rock. The approach to the house in absolutely breathtaking and you really have that sense of escaping the bustle of town while being very conveniently located to all the major area attractions, restaurants, etc. The garden on the property is a pure sanctuary where you can bask in the sun and read or nap. The rooms are beautifully appointed with a great little kitchen set up and the best coffee i have ever had! I already ordered some of this coffee to have at home. Really appreciated the book on the areas ten best hikes, as well.

Ken and Heather have prepared everything you need to have a home base while you explore the hundreds of hiking paths in Sedona. We were able to have our breakfast while enjoying Cathedral Rock, along with the occasional coyote who wandered by. We packed our lunch and headed out for a day of adventure which we were able to plan from all the information in the suite. A stroll through the garden and down to Red Rock Park were a treat. Thank you.

From the moment of booking our stay to experiencing our stay, it was the ‘whole package’! Ken welcomed us in, and took the time to give us an overview of our surroundings, great hiking tips, where to eat, and places to visit. It was delightful to be situated within the Red Rock State park, and to wake up at the crack of dawn with sunlight filling the room and Cathedral Rock beckoning, the entrance to the park just a 10 minute walk away. The Pyramid Suite was equipped with everything one could possibly need for a comfortable stay, and the bed was exceptional! Without a doubt we will return.

This a a great opportunity for everyone wanting to stay in Sedona. We spent four nights. Ken is an exceptional host. We couldn’t have asked for more in great tips, amenities, or friendliness.

Ken and Heather were the perfect hosts and they made every aspect of our trip to Sedona that much more enjoyable. The space is perfect for a couple looking for a private getaway. The area surrounding the unit is beautifully scenic and you have easy access to some spectacular views nearby. We are very much looking forward to returning in the near future.

Our host and his dog greeted us with a morning hike; immediately making us feel at home. Though hotels may offer benefits, we enjoyed not having to walk through nor be adjacent to noisiness(being nestled around beautiful high desert countryside). We enjoyed an early morning golf game 90min away in Williams aZ. All other activity (massage/spa,hiking,shopping,eating)and cool water fun @ Slide Rock State Park was enjoyed just minutes away. For our 4th of July stay, we definitely got more bang for our buck!
