It is always nice for us to have such wonderful people share our home with us. We look forward to having you stay with us again next year!
People always ask me which suite they should reserve. It is hard to say because about half our guests prefer the Cathedral suite and about half prefer the Pyramid suite. It seems that for those who plan to spend most of their time out and about experiencing Sedona, and not all that much time in the room, then our Cathedral suite, with its amazing view of Cathedral Rock, is a wonderful choice. For those who plan to spend more time in the room, or really enjoy lounging around in the mornings or evenings, then I recommend the larger Pyramid suite with two big recliners and a private balcony view of Pyramid Rock. Also, while both of our suites have kitchenettes, which include a mini fridge, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, flatware, dishes, plus organic fair-trade coffee as well as tea and snacks included for free, if you want to do any real cooking on a stove or oven on your vacation, then a full-sized condo might be a better choice.

10/8/11Ken, Heather, & Buddy (super friendly family dog) were wonderful and gracious hosts!
Ken made sure they were around when we checked-in and then they graciously spent 30 minutes or more, making us feel at home by sharing all of their maps, travel brochures, advice on where to eat, and must see sights (e.g. Indian ruins). They even saved us time and $ by lending us their two Red Rock trailhead passes. We instantly felt like locals.
In addition, we also enjoyed reading their books (left for us to read by our bedside) and intriguing conversations with them afterwards.
If you like to get up early, love sunrises, and go for neighborhood walks, then I would recommend their cozy Cathedral Suite. We hope to return every year for a 3 day weekend; anything longer, I would recommend renting a condo.
Outstanding Experience

October 16, 2011We stayed in the Pyramid Suite, and couldn’t have been happier! Ken was always available for questions, directions, and recommendations. The details and touches they do for their guests such as snacks, passes for the parks, and special soaps, truly made us feel right at home!
Awesome most beautiful place in USA to visit."

04/24/2011We had the opportunity to stay at the Cathedral Suite after visiting the Grand Canyon. The suite was spotless, comfortable and homey. It is one of a kind especially it is built using “natural materials” promoting sustainability and the design shows environmentally friendly concepts. The decor was tasteful! We enjoyed hanging out at the porch overlooking the Cathedral Rock and observing a glimpse of sunrise. The place is a walking distance to the base of the Cathedral Rock and it is a short drive to the center of Sedona. Thank you Ken for provided us great tips about the city including restaurants and hiking trails. You made made every detail of our stay enjoyable and memorable. We will strongly refer this place to family and friends who will be visiting Sedona in the future.

03/09/11This lovely accommodation exceeded our expectations and was the perfect spot from which we ventured out to discover incredible Sedona and surroundings. Ken was available to welcome us and ensure that we had everything we needed and then some to take advantage of our 5 night stay. The property is beautifully kept and we felt at home immediately. I do not recall a more hospitable host or outstanding environment in recent travels and this experience really was wonderful.
My wife and I spent 3 nights here in March. It was our first time to Sedona and we were lucky enough to find Ken and Heather’s beautiful home to stay in. All of the hiking and restaurant recommendations were great. It was nice to be able to walk to some of the trails from the house. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks again for a wonderful stay.
I just returned home from a week-long stay at Sedona Suite. I am hesitant to list all the wonderful things about this place for fear of not being able to get another reservation when I return. But I will say that I was most impressed with Ken and Heather’s commitment to the natural environment in everything they do. They have successfully demonstrated that luxury and comfort can go hand-in-hand with environmentally-friendly practices.
Ken and Heather’s hospitality and attention to every detail made this such an enjoyable place to stay. And Buddy (the sweetest dog ever) almost made me forget how much I missed my own pets. I will definitely stay here on my next visit to Sedona.
Stay here – Great Value – Great Host
This was just what we were looking for. A nice quiet place, in a great location – walk to great hiking paths and Cathedral rock. Ken was a great host – and all of his recommendations were spot on. We couldn’t have asked for a better place. I would stay here again.

Our family of 3 stayed in the Cathedral suite during the recent July 4th weekend. The suite is fantastic in terms of location, decor and amenities provided. Ken took the time to give us useful tips on places to visit and eat. This place is located very close to Oak Creek which is a plus. The drive to town takes 10 minutes, which is nothing considering you have drive with great views of red rock country.
I strongly recommend this place to anyone that is visiting Sedona and wants to stay away from the beaten path. We will go back to Sedona Suites on our next visit.

Everything about our trip to Sedona was great, starting with our arrival to the suite and being greeted by Ken, who gave us all sorts of good information about the area – short hikes, places to eat, and places to go on our day trips (70% of which we used, 30% of which we would have loved to, but we got worn out from all the adventure seeking). He was a big help in weeding out the best places to go, as was a drawer full of brochures, magazines, etc. from the area.
The drive back to this location is stunning. As we were driving down to it, my wife says “We’re staying HERE?,” because as we kept getting closer and closer the landscape got better and better. I think it’s as scenic as the Grand Canyon was, maybe even more so. The suite itself (the Pyramid Suite) was wonderful too – being Easterners, we had no problem being up to watch the sunrise hitting Pyramid Rock over coffee. Totally worth it. Although I think Cathedral Rock is the prettier view of the two, you can get a good view of that one from the entrance way anyway. I’d do it again.
I think this is the reason people come to Sedona, and I think this particular location is a traveler’s dream… as long as you’re looking to relax out in the woods, and not necessarily be in the touristy and busier section of town.

If you’re visiting the Sedona area, I would definitely recommend staying at Sedona Suite.
Ken was very welcoming (we didn’t have the opportunity to meet Heather)! Ken took the time to sit with us – giving us tips on hiking, dining and shopping. It saved us so much time. He even answered phone questions while we were on the road!
The suite has everything you need – if you forgot something or need something – ask! The suite is exactly as described, the view is amazing and just a short walk to Cathedral Rock – don’t forget your camera!! Thanks again for the hospitality!! I can’t wait to come back!

Just returned to the California Bay Area after a wonderful weekend spent in a perfect setting. What a bonus to have not only a comfortable, quite, beautifully decorated, and clean room, but also a couple who do all they can to ensure you visit to Sedona is everything you want it to be. From great restaurant choices, to tips on how to get a lawn as lush and green as theirs! I felt so much like a member of their family, that I may need to send them a Christmas card!
The location allows an easy 4-5 minute walk to the Oak Creek Park, which has views of Cathedral Rock, trails, picnic areas and is claimed to be the spot from which the rocks are most photographed. At the end of a day touring in and around uptown Sedona, it was a pleasure to return back to the peace and quite of this great find!
Thank you for creating this beautiful sanctuary from life’s daily grind. This was the coolest way to experience Sedona. You two are beautiful and inspiring people and we thank you for sharing your home with us.

Our stay at Sedona Suites was absolutely wonderful. Ken, Heather, Buddy and the bird life added to our stay. The beds are super, the quiet welcomed, and the room was super cozy, private and comfy. We can’t wait until we return.

We had a great time during our stay at Sedona Suite. We had occasion to stay in both rooms, and both were wonderful: clean, warm, comfortable, and with some nice outdoor space to have coffee or lunch. The owners really pay attention to the details here, and they provide lots of the little things–trail books in the dresser drawer, snacks in the cupboard, organic soap in the bathroom–that make the stay more relaxing for guests.
The proprietors are friendly and knowledgeable, and generous with their time. They helped us quickly get situated on our first trip to Sedona, and pointed us in all the right directions when it came to restaurant suggestions, hiking trails, and a day trip up to the Grand Canyon.
And if you’re interested in ecology, engineering, or sustainability, just ask for a tour of the grounds–you’ll definitely learn a thing or two! A great location, great accommodations, great value, and wonderful hosts. We will definitely be back in Sedona, and hopefully we’ll be staying here again, with Ken and Heather!

This was our third stay with Ken and Heather (and first with Buddy), and we’ll be back many times in the future. You simply cannot go wrong booking into Sedona Suite, a truly tranquil retreat in one of the most glorious settings possible. Walking distance to a half-dozen excellent hiking trails. A bona fide 5 on 5 !!

“What a wonderful retreat in the most breathtaking scenery in Arizona. We love your place, and the bed is the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in. The view from the balcony is inspiring and thanks for the well stocked cupboards.”
Guest: Arnie and Adela (Los Angeles, California)
“We have really enjoyed our 7 day stay here. It’s like a home away from home, better than a 5-star hotel. Great hospitality from Ken and Heather. The suites are very functional and atheistically pleasing. We look forward to our next stay here and will recommend it to all our friends.”
Guest: Mary and Frank (Atlanta, GA)
My husband and I stayed in the Pyramid Suite in January. Although the weather was less than wonderful we truly enjoyed our stay in Sedona. Ken and Heather’s spot is perfect, off the beaten track, quiet, surrounded by beauty, welcoming, spotless and very comfortable. They have thought of everything to keep one happy–coffee, teas, snacks….
We would go back in a minute.
Guest: Diane and Chris (Henderson, NV)
What a wonderful place to stay. So much quiet beauty right outside the door and the room was fantastic—very clean and very comfortable. Ken and Heather really treated us like family and gave us great advice on what to see and do in Sedona. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone going to Sedona.

A very special place for those loving peace and quiet with the added bonus of water (Oak Creek) close by which isn’t easy in Arizona! Ken was a generous host with his time and energy and will offer you as much or as little time as you require of him. He even helped my wife earn college credit with his ecological balanced home tour! One early morning I got the privilege of seeing a javelina walk across the road. Close enough to everything and at the same time far enough away from the traffic to offer a peaceful retreat. Highly recommended by John and Bev

Wendy, my fiancee & I stayed here in mid May of this year. We stayed in the Pyramid Suite, and all we can say is… When can we go back!
The home of Ken and Heather is beautiful. We unfortunately did not get the opportunity to meet Heather, but Ken was great. The room was immaculate, and near by everything worth seeing in Sedona, but off the main drag so it was quiet and relaxing with amazing views.
We can not wait to find another opportunity to visit again, as we highly recommend the Sedona Suites.

“Thank you for your gracious Sedona hospitality! We truly felt welcome and our memories of your home will stay with us forever.”
Guest: Pat and Dan Bell (Chula Vista, California)
My husband and I spent 4 nights here starting on March 30th 2009. We had not been to Sedona for about 30 years and were amazed how much it had grown. Thankfully, we stayed at the Sedona Suites, which were outside of town.
The suite we had, Cathedral Suite, was immaculate and like new. We also enjoyed the little extras, like our free organic oatmeal, popcorn for the microwave, and snack bars. We also found more perks in the bathroom; organic shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Ken and Heather have thought of everything. They even provided a free “Red Rock Pass” to carry in our car…these are required to even park off the road to take pictures, and gain you free entrance to the parks…a very nice perk indeed.
What really made this stay so special was simple…location, location, location. We were within walking distance of Oak creek, and Crescent Moon Ranch where you could watch the sunset on Cathedral Rock; what an amazing sight! The beauty of this area and it’s serene nature is incredible. Even though we were out of the rat race, we were still able to drive to nearby restaurants etc. within 10 minutes. Ken’s suggestions were all great; we especially enjoyed Picazzo’s…best pizzas and wonderful salads.
Overall we would rate our stay as an A+….we highly recommend Sedona Suites

“Words cannot describe what a wonderful and peaceful place this is. We woke every morning thinking, “We’ll never stay anywhere else in Sedona!” Your hospitality is so refreshing and we cannot think of a better place to become ENGAGED!!! Thank you and WE’LL BE BACK…”

We spent a truly gorgeous 7 day stay at Ken & Heather’s beautiful home. If anyone needs peace, tranquility and lovely views, this is the place to be. PLUS,the hosts are the friendliest, most helpful couple you will ever meet.
